David Truelock and Debbie Miller, Personal Lines Account Executives with Rooney Insurance Agency, Inc. were privileged to be a part of the inaugural event sponsored by Junior Achievement on May 14, 2019 called “JA Inspire.”
The event was held on the ORU Campus who hosted all Jenks Public School’s eighth-grade students for the day. At JA Inspire, the students had an opportunity to visit with approximately 50 exhibitors from area businesses from the Tulsa area. We interacted with the students by answering their questions about how insurance works and provided them with information to consider as they begin to prepare their own career path over the next few years.
It was exciting to watch them explore areas they might not have previously considered and to be informed of different job responsibilities and business cultures. We look forward to partnering with Junior Achievement in their continued effort to better prepare our youth for successful futures!
